Questions, answered.
Are these image tools really free? +
Yes. You can use the tools without creating an account. PixelMint is an independent project and is not affiliated with Google, Adobe, or other image software companies.
Do you upload or store my images? +
No. Image processing happens in your browser. Your files remain on your device while you use the tool.
Which image formats are supported? +
You can work with JPG/JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and BMP files. Animated GIFs are processed as a still image.
Will compression make my image blurry? +
Lower quality settings create smaller files and may reduce detail. Use the quality slider to balance size and appearance, then preview before downloading.
Can I compress an image to 50 KB or 100 KB? +
Set the maximum size in KB and choose JPG or WebP. The browser adjusts image quality to try to meet the limit. Very small targets may require resizing first, and exact results depend on image content.
Can I resize an image without stretching it? +
Yes. Keep “Lock ratio” enabled and enter either width or height, or choose a resize preset. The other dimension follows the original image proportions.
Private from the first click.
PixelMint processes your images directly in your browser. Image files stay on your device while processing. A pending tool-to-tool handoff is stored locally until the next tool reads it; clear browser site data to remove an unused handoff.
